Mid-State Literacy Council, Inc.

The Mid-State Literacy Council, founded in 1971, provides the opportunity of education for the 11% of Centre County residents who are illiterate. Trained volunteers provide reading, writing, English, and math instruction to adults who need basic literacy skills to navigate daily activities, and to improve the lives of their children.
